VOCE Artist Educators serve as producers for our educational recording projects. Our team is comprised of some of the finest University Wind Ensemble directors in the United States, and brings decades of experience directly to your classroom. These educators will guide you and your ensemble through your recording session, helping you to achieve your maximum potential while creating a memorable educational experience for everyone involved.

Dr. Bradley Genevro is Director of Bands and Professor of Conducting in the Greenwood School of Music at Oklahoma State University. In his duties at Oklahoma State, Dr. Genevro oversees all aspects of the band area. Prior to his appointment at OSU, he has served on the faculties of the University of Texas at El Paso, Messiah University, and the University of North Texas. Ensembles under Dr. Genevro's leadership have performed multiple times at state, national, and international conventions.
In addition, his groups have recordings released under both the Mark Custom and Klavier Record Labels. His recordings have been reviewed in Fanfare Magazine with the following comments: "A superb disc," "a magnificent statement of the highest professionalism possible from student ensembles."
Dr. Genevro maintains a very active schedule as a clinician, adjudicator, guest conductor, and recording producer having worked across the US, Australia, Europe, Hong Kong, and mainland China. As a recording producer, he has worked with groups such as the University of North Texas Wind Symphony, the United States Air Force Band, the Keystone Wind Ensemble, the Sydney Conservatorium Wind Symphony, and a variety of other professional and university ensembles. Dr. Genevro holds professional memberships in the Oklahoma Music Educators Association, Oklahoma Bandmasters Association, Texas Bandmasters Association, National Association for Music Education, Phi Beta Mu, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, Pi Kappa Lambda, Kappa Kappa Psi, Tau Beta Sigma, College Band Directors National Association, and was elected to the prestigious American Bandmasters Association.

Joseph Parisi is a Curator’s Professor at the UMKC Conservatory where he conducts the Conservatory Wind Ensemble and serves as a conducting and music education faculty member. Parisi is recognized globally for his work as a clinician, conductor, performing artist, pedagogue, and scholar. As Parisi embarks on his 20th year at the UMKC Conservatory, he continues collaborating with renowned artists, commissioning new pieces for wind ensemble, chamber winds, symphonic brass, and soloists. He has an extensive recording dossier as a performer and conductor and is recognized, as “a vibrant force on the podium, who inspires all of the musicians under his baton. He is a wonderfully collaborative person whose energy is infectious” – David Hickman, Summit Brass.
Parisi is the principal conductor of Summit Brass at the Rafael Méndez Brass Institute (www.mendezbrassinstitute.com) and the Fountain City Brass Band (www.fcbb.net), and it is through his work with these ensembles that Parisi is recognized as one of the country’s leading conductors. Fountain City Brass Band currently leads the United States as one of the world’s top brass bands and is currently ranked as the 15th best brass band in the world, the highest-ranked American Band in history. Fountain City has recorded many albums and their newest recording, Celtic Impressions, has received widespread praise for its ensemble precision, excitement, and musicality
Dr. Parisi completed a bachelor’s degree in music education at the State University of New York at Potsdam (Crane School of Music); a master’s degree in trumpet performance and a Ph.D. in instrumental conducting/music education, both from Florida State University. While at the UMKC Conservatory, Parisi has won numerous awards including, the Kauffman Excellence in Teaching Award, the Kauffman Award for Outstanding Research and Creative Activity, and the Kauffman Outstanding Service Award.

Robert Meunier is Director of Bands and Professor of Percussion at Drake University where he is the conductor of the Drake Wind Symphony and director of percussion studies. In demand as a guest conductor, clinician, and adjudicator, Meunier has appeared in thirty-one states, China, Sweden, Canada, and in Mexico, where he has been an artist/conductor in residence at the Conservatorio Nacional de Musica, and at the Academia de Musica Escuela de Musica Ollin Yoliztli in Mexico City. He is a contributing author to eleven volumes of Teaching Music Through Performance in Band, Teaching Music Through Performing Marches, and Teaching Music Through Jazz Performance. In addition to his duties at Drake, Meunier is affiliated with the Des Moines Symphony Academy as the conductor of the Des Moines Youth Wind Ensemble.
Meunier and the Drake University Wind Symphony have released ten professional recordings through Mark Custom Recording, many of which have received Grammy Nomination eligibility status in the Best Classical Music category and have received excellent reviews in Bandworld. They have performed for the College Band Directors National Association North Central Division Conference (2000, 2008, 2012), the Iowa Bandmasters Association Conference, the North American Saxophone Alliance, and have toured extensively throughout the Midwest. Recordings by the Drake Wind Symphony are featured regularly on public radio stations throughout the United States.
A member of the percussion section of the Des Moines Symphony Orchestra for over thirty years, Meunier has experiences in orchestral, jazz, show, solo performance, and recording. He includes Don Rickles, Robert Goulet, the Smothers Brothers, Red Skelton, Roger Williams, the Temptations, and many others among his numerous professional performance credits.
Meunier is a past-president of the Iowa Bandmasters Association, past-president of the South Central Iowa Bandmasters Association, and past-president of the Iowa Chapter of the Percussive Arts Society. He is a member of the American Bandmasters Association (elected 2014), the College Band Directors National Association, Iowa Bandmasters Association, Pi Kappa Lambda Honor Society, and an honorary member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. He holds a Bachelor of Science in music education from the University of Mary, a Master of Music in percussion performance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and has pursued doctoral studies in wind conducting at the University of North Texas where he was a student of Eugene Migliaro Corporon and Dennis Fisher. Meunier has been honored by Drake as a recipient of the College of Arts and Sciences Outstanding Teacher of the Year, and as a nominee for the university’s Outstanding Teacher of the Year. He is the recipient of the 2019 Iowa Bandmasters Association Karl King-Active Distinguished Service Award.

Dr. Vince Kenney currently serves as Assistant Director of Bands/Associate Professor of Low Brass at Drake University in Des Moines, IA, where he directs low brass studies and conducts the Drake University Symphonic Band, Marching Band, and “Bulldog Brass” Pep Band.
As a soloist and chamber musician, Vince has been invited to present guest artist recitals, clinics, and lectures, at dozens of the finest universities and music conferences throughout the United States, including the United States Army Band Tuba/Euphonium Workshop, the Texas Music Educators Association All-State Conference (TMEA), the International Tuba/Euphonium Conference, the South Central, Midwest, and South East regional ITEA conferences, the Iowa Bandmasters Association, the Eastman School of Music, and many others. Dr. Kenney is a contributing author to the Teaching Music Through Performance in Band Series published by GIA, and his recording of James Curnow’s Euphonium Concerto on the Drake Wind Symphony’s album “Tribute” received Grammy eligibility status for “Best Classical Instrumental Solo”.
As a member of the North Texas Euphonium Quartet, Vince has helped to establish the euphonium quartet as a viable chamber medium through performances, commissions, premieres, and educational outreach. To date, the group has aided in creating over 100 new works for euphonium quartet along with a host of new arrangements. The group released their first album “Machines” in 2019.
In 2020, Dr. Kenney was appointed music director and conductor of the Des Moines Metro Concert Band, Iowa’s only professional concert band. The group presents an annual Summer concert series “Music Under the Stars – Iowa” on the steps of the Iowa State Capitol. Vince is a member of the College Band Directors National Association, The Iowa Bandmasters Association, and the International Tuba Euphonium Association. He received undergraduate degrees in Music Education and Performance from the University of Illinois, and earned his Masters and Doctoral degrees in Euphonium Performance from the University of North Texas under the tutelage of Dr. Brian Bowman. Dr. Kenney is a Willson performing artist, playing exclusively on the Willson 2900-TA euphonium.
